Vietnam is well known for its incredible coffee culture – and been so for hundreds of years already! But despite the long history of coffee drinking, it may come as a surprise that Ho Chi Minh City has one of the most rousing coffee scenes around the world for the hipsters alike. Ho Chi Minh City is a city of contrasts reflecting from its diverse history into today's trendiest foodie and coffee spots. There's something for everyone, as long as you dare to dig a bit underneath the surface.
Behind each corner in Ho Chi Minh City in the main districts, you are to find trendy places that make you look at latte art with a whole new perspective.
I visited Saigon earlier this year as a guest of ITE HCMC conference, and did my best to explore some of the suggested cafes I found on Instagram & on the Townske app! So here you have it; the most Instagrammable coffee spots in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam!

Instagrammable cafes in Ho Chi Minh City
L'Usine
L'Usine is a French-like chain of 2 trendy coffee spots in Ho Chi Minh City. On my trip in this fine city of Vietnam, I stopped by the one at Dong Khoi – which was in no way easy to find, but totally worth getting lost. L'Usine Dong Khoi is located inside a bit of a questionable motorbike parking alley, where you'll find stairs that take you up to the café. But despite the silly location, L'Usine is the most beautiful and Instagrammable spot perhaps in all of Ho Chi Min City.
I enjoyed a delicious cappuccino with soy milk & some mouthwatering pancakes.

The Loft
The Loft is a modern urban hipster heaven in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Serving out-of-this-world coffee experiences, fusion food, and wine – I don't mind spending long hours on my laptop over here going through the menu and staying overly caffeinated.
The Loft is also a bit on the French side in its interior, like many things in Ho Chi Minh City – but I'd suggest going there now, as the government might end up destroying the entire building in the next months or years!

Fly Cupcake Garden Cafe
Fly Cupcake Garden is the cutest cupcake place I've met on my travels – it's kind of what you get when you combine unicorns, Care Bears & cotton candy. It's definitely ideal for some cute Instagram photos! Fly Cupcake doesn't only offer pretty cupcakes, but also some very photogenic coffee drinks, sodas, and smoothies.
And unless you are melting in the heat, definitely consider sitting outside in the garden!

Oromia Coffee & Lounge
The best thing about Oromia Coffee is obviously the fact that there are a couple of insanely cute cats who just hang around all day – I mean, just look at their adorable faces!
Oromia is for those Instagrammers who might suffer from a case of #Ihavethisthingwithfloors – just look at those fab floors! So make sure to wear some cute shoes for the perfect shot!
Oromia Coffee offers some naughty, but delicious coffee drinks with whipped cream & perhaps the most delicious tiramisu-like cake on the planet (making Italy shaking in its boot – just one boot though because that's also what the country looks like, so pardon the awkwardly explained pun).

The Workshop Coffee Saigon
The Workshop Coffee is a paradise for all coffee lovers alike! The Workshop Coffee might just be the place for the absolute highest quality coffee in Ho Chi Minh City! And it's not just a regular coffee place, you can join a workshop to learn the art of turning coffee beans into this magical beverage!
