Catching up with friends in Bangkok
Why didn't anyone tell me before that Bangkok is this awesome? I was expecting to land into a chaotic city that would be hard to manage as a solo female traveler on a busy schedule with a ton of meetings around the city. But turned out that Bangkok is one of the most exciting and fun places I've ever been to - it's a city I would actually loved to live in!
And one of the best things about spending a lot of time exploring the world is definitely the people you meet. At first I went for lunch with my friend Walanchalee who used to be a teacher's assistant at our Airport Operations & Management class in Hong Kong PolyU. She is someone I really look up to in her career in the travel industry and it was so much fun to have a long talk with the lovely lady after a couple of years. This lady is also a part of my @ladiesintourism project on Instagram!
Next it was time to meet up with another Hong Kong darling, Suphakrit. He works as cabin crew for Bangkok Airways and we met up one fun night in Hong Kong and been great friends ever since! He brought along his CX crew friend and we had so much fun talking about air travel, Hong Kong and life between now and 2013. They also took me to this lovely Rocket Coffeebar with a lot of healthy vegan options for lunch!
